In-office examination required to obtain treatment options & an estimate, cosmetic eyelid surgery not covered by OHIP
Since 1990, Dr. Oestreicher has completed more than 20,000 eyelid procedures, trained many other eyelid surgeons from around the world, is a Full Professor at the University of Toronto. and has volunteered hundreds of hours of his time to work on the “flying eye hospital” (The Orbis project), a specially equipped aircraft and team of medical experts that work in developing countries to save sight and train other doctors.
There is no replacement for this experience or the peace of mind that comes with knowing you are dealing with one of Canada’s foremost eye specialists, not a general Plastic Surgeon, General Ophthalmologist, Dermatologist, Otolaryngologist (ENT), Facial Plastic Surgeon or General Practitioner. Dr. Oestreicher is known as the “physician’s physician”, operating on many doctors and their spouses and family. He is also the go-to man for repair of bad eyelid surgery – just one more reason why he has earned a long list of testimonials from grateful patients and endorsements from other eye care colleagues around the world.
Improving the look of your eyes has a significant – and very positive – impact on your overall appearance, and Dr. Oestreicher can help you achieve that goal with both surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures that help reverse the signs of aging. A complete range of surgical and cosmetic eyelid procedures
Dr. Oestreicher can help your eyes look healthier and more attractive with a range of surgical cosmetic procedures, including the two most commonly performed procedures:
Blepharoplasty – the removal or reduction of bags under the eyes to help reduce or eliminate the look of “puffy” or “tired” eyes. Thanks to new techniques and advances in CO2 laser technology, upper lids heal faster and lower lid surgery can be done ‘from the inside’, leaving no visible scar.
Skin resurfacing – the reduction of lines, wrinkles and creases around the eyes for a smoother and more relaxed look.
What about non-surgical cosmetic treatments?
If you can achieve your desired results without surgery, Dr. Oestreicher can help you achieve a more youthful appearance with non-invasive or minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.
Other non-surgical and surgical procedures offered by Dr. Oestreicher
- Non-invasive cosmetic procedures to help other areas of your face look younger (removal of benign eyelid and facial lesions, IPL (photofacial), fillers, botox, eyelash lengthening treatments)
- Repair of eyelid procedures done by other surgeons
- Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which typically involves management of deformities and abnormalities of the eyelids, lacrimal (tear) system, the orbit (bony cavity surrounding the eye) and the adjacent face.
