“A very knowledgeable and expert teacher”

It is a great pleasure to write a few words about Dr. James Oestreicher who was amongst our renowned guests in the 19th congress of Iranian society of ophthalmology (IrSO).  He was invited by the Iranian Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (IrSOPRS) in 2009 and delivered some lectures in the field of OPRS during our annual meeting to which we received very positive feedback from our attending ophthalmologists.  His articles, published in different ophthalmic plastic and other peer reviewed journals, have always been inspiring for the future researchers in this field.

A few of our trainees have been trained by him in his great ophthalmic plastic center with a very good achievement.  I would therefore consider him a very knowledgeable and expert teacher in the field of ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery.

I look forward to inviting him to one of our upcoming national (Iranian-SOPRS) and or regional (Middle east-SOPRS) meetings in the near future.
